Hi, I'm Katie. A Freelance Art Director and Designer based in Dallas, Texas. 
 

Nashville born, Texas raised and Baylor Fine Arts educated, I’m an eclectic southern girl at my core. After working full time as an account manager at a large advertising agency in Dallas, I felt led to leave my corporate career path and lean into my art background -- hence my freelancing journey. Over the past 9 years, I have worked directly with marketing agencies and clients in various capacities and have had the opportunity to work with brands big and small, across multiple industries, and through a wide variety of channels.

From project concept to execution, I offer a broad range of creative services such as (re)branding, print, digital and social design, web and mobile app design, illustration, packaging, photo editing, retouching and more. I believe in EFFECTIVE DESIGN, where high quality work can be innovative, and modern and aesthetically pleasing, without sacrificing usability for the end user. My prior marketing and project management experience has helped me become an even more efficient and proactive creative, with a well-rounded perspective and unique set of skills.

Outside of my freelance world, I love to spend time with my husband Trent, our two crazy kiddos and our beloved Goldendoodle, Bigsby. I’m a painter, an always nesting home owner, Bravo TV and foodstagram junkie, and I love making lists. I guess you could say I am half right-brained, half left-brained, and all the things in between!
